Because of the shallow depth of Perth Water (Average 1.5 metres) catamarans were seen to be the ideal craft for this location. Originally set up to provide a service to schools in the Perth area, the popularity and versatility of the catamaran soon caught on with the public and it is not uncommon to have have the majority of the fleet booked out from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Our safety record and professional approach to beginners and experienced sailors alike has ensured strong support from our sponsors. This has enabled us to maintain very attractive rates for our school students within our sailing program. With 54 Windrush 14' Catamarans available and regularly maintained a memorable experience is assured. All craft are surveyed annually to ensure a reliable and safe boat for your use. Rescue craft are always available in case of any incidents, such as an accidental capsize or simply being unable to sail back to the beach. We also provide a First Aid kit for those little emergencies which can occur. Best times relate to the various winds with North and South Easterly winds often making morning sailing very attractive. For the more experienced, strong sea breezes are a normal summer feature. In the evening, Corporate and Social Sailing and Racing are our speciality.
